Worship

Christ Church welcomes everyone to worship with us!  

We worship according to the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).  The prayer book specifies that the Eucharist or Holy Communion is "the principal act of Christian worship on the Lord's Day." 

Our worship service has two parts. The first part is centered on readings from scripture and preaching. At each service, passages from the Old Testament and the New Testament are read. The readings are organized in a three-year lectionary cycle during which much of the Bible will have been read in church. The second part of the service is centered on the Eucharist. 

After the worship service, everyone is invited to coffee hour in the parish house for fellowship.
